The Tennessee Rho Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon was chartered on November 11, 1989 at Christian Brothers University.  The chapter recently held a fundraiser – a Boston butt sale at the beginning of the Spring semester, raising about $1500 for the chapter.  Shortly afterwards, the chapter initiated 8 new members, an impressive number for the small chapter.

In the area of service, TN Rho has been very active.  The chapter’s 22 members racked up an impressive 800 hours during the Spring 2008 semester, volunteering at the YMCA in downtown Memphis and at the Children's Museum of Memphis.

At this semester's Christian Brothers University Greek Awards Banquet, the chapter managed to win the Greek Service Award. The Greek Intramural Championship was also awarded to at the awards banquet. This marked the 20th year out of the 21 that they have been on campus that they have won this award.

On April 5th, the chapter held our 6th Annual Boxing Tournament, managing to raise $2400 for the Children's Miracle Network by way of the 600 or so people who came to watch the 13 scheduled fights.
